Project Description

Arabic Classes and Tutoring

Arabic is one of the most widely used languages in the world; spoken by 400 million people, many of them are in The Middle East and North Africa. Like all languages, the Arabic language reflects the rich and very interesting history and cultures of its people. I enjoy meeting people of different cultures and languages, and I am very excited to join Bend Language Institute to share my culture through my language with others.

Individual Tutoring

There is no better way to learn than through individual tutoring. We schedule to suit your life, whether it is in your local coffeeshop, our classroom, or outside in the park! Use the individual tutoring product below to purchase a set number of hours, from one to ten. Tutoring starts at $43 per hour, the best price you’ll find anywhere, and the more hours you purchase, the more you’ll save. Purchase ten hours and you’ll only be paying $35 per hour. Make sure you select the language you need tutoring in, and after your purchase we’ll get in touch with you to schedule your sessions.

The Language of Arabic Food

I believe most of you are familiar with Arabic or Middle Eastern food such as Falafel, Hummus and Baba Ganoosh. But there is so much more to Arabic food that includes delicious entrees, main courses and dessert that are specific to each country, and common dishes that are cooked in different ways by each country. In this workshop I will share with you the language of Palestinian food, the names of the most popular Palestinian dishes that are loved and cooked by other Arabs as well. For this workshop, we will cook vegetarian dishes with delicious spices that are hard to find in the US. I promise you will enjoy every story and love every bite.

We will meet on February 8th from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
