Would you like to learn a language at your own pace?
Private tutoring with an experienced teacher can help you improve your language skills while working around your schedule. Given concerns around COVID-19, our teachers are happy to meet with you digitally over Zoom for one-on-one instruction, in person, or while walking and talking!
We recently constructed an outdoor classroom, so you can work with a teacher in the open air when the weather is nice. And if is is cloudy, our spacious classrooms are still available for tutoring. You can even meet up with a teacher around the neighborhood to walk while practicing your language skills. This is a perfect opportunity to refine your vocabulary in the real world while also keeping your body active. Walk-and-talk language learning is best suited for intermediate and advanced students. Many students who take private lessons like to do a combination of in-person learning, digital lessons, and walk-and-talk language practice.
If you are new to Bend Language Institute, just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 541-728-3022 and we will be happy to put you in touch with a local teacher to discuss your language learning needs.
We also offer semi-private tutoring for 2-3 youth and/or adults at an affordable price, so you can have fun learning with your friends. If this is something that would interest you, contact us and we will be happy to arrange this. You can see more about small group tutoring here: https://bendlanguageinstitute.com/product/small-group-private-lessons/
If you are a returning student, you can just select your language below and the number of hours you would like to purchase. Our language tutoring rate of $43 dollars per hour is the best you’ll find in town, and when you purchase your time in advance you can reduce that rate down to just $37 per hour. With individual tutoring, you can work with your teacher to find a time that works for both of you.
Please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy for private lessons. If a student does not show up to a lesson or cancels last minute they will be charged for this hour. This allows teachers to maintain an organized schedule to help all of their students.
