French IV

This class is for students familiar with most verb forms and able to converse about different topics. We will increase vocabulary knowledge through
conversation practice around subjects of literature, debate, reading articles, presentations , games. The class will also include some grammar tips and review of some of the more advanced structures of the language.

Sessions – Summer 2024

French IV will meet on Tuesdays from 5-6:30pm from July 9 – August 27. Please be sure to register in advance.

Class Cancellation Policy & Refunds

A full course credit or refund can be requested prior to one week before the start of the course or workshop. If a student requests a refund, they will be charged a $30 fee. Students can request a 50% refund up until the end of the second week of classes for a 8-week course, and they will not be charged an additional fee. We cannot issue any refunds after this period.

Catherine Leavitt Instructor —French

As a teacher, I love being part of my young students’ lives to instill confidence and find ways to help them engage in their own learning. I also have enjoyed teaching adults because we often share the same motivation to be lifelong learners.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, and listening to my adult/teen children share their various world changing ideas; they say it is their French heritage that makes them good at arguing! Some of my other pursuits are piano, fitness/nutrition coaching and rock climbing. I am very much looking forward to meeting new students and have fun learning.
