Introductory Japanese I
The goal of this Japanese course is to introduce the fundamentals of the sound systems, writing systems, basic grammar and vocabulary, and basic phrases for everyday situations. It is designed for people new to the Japanese language. In Introductory Japanese you will learn proper greetings, words for meals, how to ask about family and friends, and be able to navigate public transport. This class is designed for adults and youth ages 13 and older.
Sessions – Summer 2023
Introductory Japanese I will meet from 2:30 – 3:30 pm on Tuesdays from July 9 – August 6. This 5-week course is limited to 10 students so please sign up in advance.

Class Cancellation Policy & Refunds
A full course credit or refund can be requested prior to one week before the start of the course or workshop. If a student requests a refund, they will be charged a $30 fee. Students can request a 50% refund up until the end of the first week of classes for a 5-week course, and they will not be charged an additional fee. We cannot issue any refunds after this period.
