Italian Language Classes and Tutoring

Session – Summer 2026

Italian Travel Essentials will meet this summer on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7pm from July 15 – August 5 at our institute. The course is limited to 10 people so please register in advance. Intensive Beginner Italian

Jumpstart your Italian this summer with a two-week intensive course designed for beginners. Classes meet every day for two hours, helping you build a strong foundation quickly through consistent practice and interactive learning.

Want to continue? Follow it with an additional two-week Beginner Italian Part 2 course to further develop your skills and confidence. This class is perfect for anyone looking to learn Italian in a focused and immersive way!

Sessions – Summer 2026

Intensive Beginner Italian Part 2

Continue your Italian journey with this two-week intensive course designed for learners with some prior experience. Whether you’ve taken Italian 1, studied a bit on your own, or practiced with apps like Duolingo, this course is a great way to build on what you already know.

Through daily classes and interactive activities, you’ll expand your vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, and gain more confidence speaking Italian. This class is ideal for taking your Italian to the next level in a short, focused time!

Beginner Italian Conversation

Ready to start speaking Italian with confidence? This Beginner Conversation class is perfect for students who are already familiar with the present and past tenses and want to actually use them in real conversation. Through videos, short articles, and guided discussions, you’ll talk about everyday topics, build vocabulary, and reinforce grammar in a natural way. The focus is on speaking from day one in a relaxed, supportive environment—with plenty of practice to help you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in Italian.

Beginner Conversation Italian will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-9am from July 14 to August 20. Italian III Immersion 

Ready to take your Italian to the next level? This fun, fast- paced Italian III immersion meets every day, so you stay in the language and retain more—no forgetting between classes! We’ll focus on the past (passato prossimo & imperfetto) and the future, all through real conversation, stories, and interactive activities. You’ll talk about your experiences, share ideas, and start thinking in Italian in a relaxed, supportive environment. By the end, you’ll feel more confident, more fluent, and ready to actually use Italian in real life.

Sessions – Summer 2026

Italian III Immersion will meet Monday through Friday from 9:00-11:00am from June 25th to July 2nd and from July 27th to August 7th. This is one course with a break in the middle, so registration covers both time periods. Intermediate Italian Conversation

Take your Italian to the next level with our Intermediate Conversation class! Designed for students who have completed at least an Italian III course (or have a similar level), this class helps you expand your speaking skills and gain fluency. Each lesson includes a quick review of past and future verb tenses, plus new grammar and vocabulary, all applied through videos, articles, and engaging discussions on real-life topics. With lots of speaking practice, you’ll build confidence, improve accuracy, and start communicating more naturally and spontaneously in Italian.

Advanced Italian

Advanced Italian continues to offer conversation classes for intermediate to advanced Italian learners. This class will be a grammar review class, where each class  focuses on understanding the week’s grammatical concepts and then we practice using them through various conversation topics and activities. We will have different, pre-planned conversational topics that we will explore each week.

Advanced Italian will meet on Thursdays from 11:30am-12:30pm from July 16 – August 20 at our institute. This class is limited to 10 people so please sign up in advance.

We would also be happy to offer a free language level assessment to ensure that you find the course that is the best fit for you.

This summer we are offering The Language of Italian Food on Sunday, July 26 from 4:30-6:30pm. You can sign up below or email bendlanguageinstitute@gmail.com if you have any questions. This workshop is limited to 8 people so please sign up in advance.

Private tutoring with an experienced teacher can help you improve your language skills while working around your schedule. We offer both in-person and remote one-on-one lessons to help you meet your language learning needs. Our language tutoring rate is $55 dollars per hour, and when you purchase your time in advance you can reduce that rate down to $50 per hour.

We also offer semi-private tutoring for 2-3 youth and/or adults at an affordable price, so you can have fun learning with your friends.
