Grammar: Games to Remember – Drop-in Class

Get ready to have fun while strengthening your French grammar skills! Each week will have a short review on a grammar subject and then practice through conversation, games and memory drills.

This class is designed for students who are A2 and up, which means you have already been introduced to basic grammar and able to converse about basic topics/or have taken an advanced intermediate class with Bend Language Institute. Grammar topics that we will review include verb tenses in past, present and future, pronouns, articles, liaison rules and more.

Sessions – Fall 2026

French Grammar Games to Remember is run as a drop-in class that will meet on Mondays from 3:45-4:30pm from September 28 – November 16. We will not hold classes Monday, Oct 12 (Columbus/Indigenous Day). You are welcome to register for the entire 8-week session online or attend this class as a drop-in class. For drop-in classes, you can pay for each class when you arrive by cash, check or Venmo. The cost of each class is $20. Please reach out to us for more information.

Class Cancellation Policy & Refunds

A full course credit or refund can be requested prior to one week before the start of the course or workshop. If a student requests a refund, they will be charged a $30 fee. Students can request a 50% refund up until the end of the second week of classes for a 8-week course, and they will not be charged an additional fee. We cannot issue any refunds after this period.

Catherine Leavitt Instructor —French

As a teacher, I love being part of my young students’ lives to instill confidence and find ways to help them engage in their own learning. I also have enjoyed teaching adults because we often share the same motivation to be lifelong learners.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, and listening to my adult/teen children share their various world changing ideas; they say it is their French heritage that makes them good at arguing! Some of my other pursuits are piano, fitness/nutrition coaching and rock climbing. I am very much looking forward to meeting new students and have fun learning.
