Grammar’s Greatest Hits in French (Part 2)

Grammar’s Greatest Hits in French (Part 2) is designed for those building a solid foundation in French grammar, as well those seeking to refresh their knowledge. Each class will include some reading, pronunciation review, and exercises to help you be more proficient in French grammar. A different grammar topic will be reviewed each week including, verb tenses in past, present and future, pronouns, articles, liaison rules and more. This is an online class for intermediate French speakers who have taken levels French 3 and up. It is not required that you completed the Winter Part 1 course with us, however be sure to contact us to make sure this is the appropriate class for you if you are new to Bend Language Institute.

Sessions – Spring 2025 (Online)

This spring we will be offering Grammar’s Greatest Hits in French online. The class will meet via live streaming on Thursdays from 6-7pm from April 14 – June 5. The class is limited to 10 people so please be sure to sign up in advance.

Class Cancellation Policy & Refunds

A full course credit or refund can be requested prior to one week before the start of the course or workshop. If a student requests a refund, they will be charged a $30 fee. Students can request a 50% refund up until the end of the second week of classes for a 8-week course, and they will not be charged an additional fee. We cannot issue any refunds after this period.

Catherine Leavitt Instructor —French

As a teacher, I love being part of my young students’ lives to instill confidence and find ways to help them engage in their own learning. I also have enjoyed teaching adults because we often share the same motivation to be lifelong learners.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, and listening to my adult/teen children share their various world changing ideas; they say it is their French heritage that makes them good at arguing! Some of my other pursuits are piano, fitness/nutrition coaching and rock climbing. I am very much looking forward to meeting new students and have fun learning.
