French Conversation Practice

Language practice is so much easier with others who can help motivate you. In this class, we will share ideas, explore questions, practice, and have fun! The French Conversation Practice group will focus on conversation that help with vocabulary development, pronunciation and increased fluency in the French language. This group will consist of guided conversations in French led by an experienced instructor. These sessions are designed for individuals and can participate in intermediate to advanced conversations. We will get to know each other, laugh and share the beautiful French language. No textbooks or materials are required.

Sessions – Winter 2026

French Conversation Practice will meet on Mondays from 4:10-5:10pm from January 5 – February 23 at our institute. We will not hold classes Monday, January 19 for MLK Day. Class Cancellation Policy & Refunds

A full course credit or refund can be requested prior to one week before the start of the course or workshop. If a student requests a refund, they will be charged a $30 fee. Students can request a 50% refund up until the end of the second week of classes for a  6 to 8-week course, and they will not be charged an additional fee. We cannot issue any refunds after this period.

Bonjour! I grew up in Exeter, New Hampshire and went on to earn a BA in French from UNH, spending my junior year at the University of Dijon in France. After 25 years of teaching high school, college and adult courses in New England, my husband and I moved to Southern California, where I continued to teach French to predominantly Spanish speakers. Throughout my career, I often traveled to France with my students and family so that they could experience and appreciate the beauty of French culture and language. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for all things French with my new students at Bend Language Institute!
