Introductory Spanish I

Introductory Spanish I is designed for students who have never taken a Spanish class before. At the end of the course you will reach basic proficiency in writing, reading, speaking and listening in Spanish. You will be familiar with a variety of topics, such as your family and friends, your likes/dislikes, food and hobbies and your daily routine. You will also be able to give directions, order in a restaurant, read menus and brochures and talk about the time.

This course is designed for you to finish your day by learning something new in a comfortable and fun environment.

Sessions – Winter 2020

Introductory Spanish I will meet every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 4:30-5:30pm January 14th – March 5th at our central location. The course will be capped at the first 10 students to register, so please register at least one week in advance. You can purchase your seat here. Meet your Instructor

SaskiaInstructor —Spanish and German
I am a native German from Cologne who just relocated to Bend with my husband who I love to travel with. I am a certified Spanish and ESL teacher with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Education which I obtained from the University of Cologne, Germany. My interest in cultural exchange and teaching led me to living in different parts of the world, such as Argentina, Australia, Spain, Mexico and throughout the United States, where I have gained extensive experience in different educational and multilingual settings.
