Introductory Italian I
Introductory Italian I is designed for students who have never taken an Italian class before. The goal is to develop basic oral and written proficiency in Italian. By the end of the class you should be able to speak and write about a variety of topics, such as your family and friends, your likes/dislikes, food and hobbies, and travel plans. You should also be able to read directions, food menus, train timetables, and short stories (with a dictionary).
Sessions – Spring 2021
Two sections of Introductory Italian I will be offered. One is an in-person class and one is a remote class. Both classes will be capped at 6 students so please sign up in advance.
The in-person class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-4:45pm from March 30 – May 20. We plan at the institute (416 NE Greenwood Ave) and can hold class outside when the weather is nice.
The remote class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45pm from March 29 – May 19. This class will meet on Zoom.
You can use the link below to sign up for either class. When you register for the class, please specify if you would like to sign up for the remote class or in-person class in the notes section. Send us an email at email@example.com or call us at 541-728-3022 if you would like more details or have any questions.
