Introductory Italian (Part 2)
Introductory Italian Part 2 will continue from where Introductory Italian Part 1 concluded. The goal of this course is to develop basic oral and written proficiency in Italian. By the end of the class you should be able to speak and write about a variety of topics, such as your family and friends, your likes/dislikes, food and hobbies, and travel plans. You should also be able to read directions, food menus, train timetables, and short stories (with a dictionary).
Sessions – Winter 2021
For winter 2020, we are dividing Introductory Italian into two parts that are each four weeks long. You can take the parts in sequence or only take one course depending on your language learning needs. If you have some experience in Italian already, you may feel comfortable enrolling in only the second half of this introductory course. Introductory Italian Part 2 will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-4:45pm from February 8 – March 4. We plan to meet at our institute, but may move the class to Zoom if needed. This class will be capped at 6 students so please sign up in advance.
